Dr. Woodson Merrell is a general internist and sees most all conditions that arise—including neurologic, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal. His focus is on preventive medicine, and he also very much enjoys early intervention for conditions that are just beginning to develop such as adult onset diabetes and hypertension. In addition, he utilizes integrative therapies to treat functional disorders such as headaches and irritable bowel syndrome. He spends quite a bit of time with food intolerances and sees many patients who come to him with chronic conditions.
